With the rapid development of the spacecraft engineering in our country, the clients’ demand for satellite has risen sharply. This has become the new challenge for satellite development cycle and the mass production. This dissertation is to face the challenges. By introducing bus into controllers for data processing and transforming system in remote sensing-satellite and multi-electronic equipment, the adaptability may be strengthened in the system controller applied to different satellites. At the same time, the scale and systemization of the satellite-loaded equipment’s production can be realized and the development circle may be shortened.Base on the present data transmission system controller we have now, the paper does a detailed analysis on the functions of the system controller. At first, the author puts forward a model of data transmission system controller based on bus in order to produce the system controller with high reliability, and low cost, which can be produced in serial form. The compare and contrast of the cost, reliability, wiring in several frequently used satellite-loaded buses is done. Finally, the author chooses the CAN bus with low cost, high reliability, and compactness as the system’s controlling bus. Apart from these, applying to the real satellite project, the author uses modularization design ideas, unifies the interfaces of the system controller, and gives the overall data transmission system controller’s project scheme based on CAN bus. At last, the author designs the hardware of the functional modules in system controller in great detail, writes software program which is inset in the work of the processor’s hardware, and fully realizes all functions of the system controller. The product has past the tests in various environments. It meets the demand of the space vehicle in orbit.The data transmission system controller based on CAN bus in the thesis has been successfully used in satellites. The research contributes to the mass production of the satellite loaded data transmission system controller.
