Study On Post-occupancy Evaluation Of Tower High-rise Residential Plane In Changsha

Abstracts:The development of urban construction provides further opportunities for the growth of high-rise residents and also affects people’s living concept, it is leading people to improve the quality of their living space. But the design of high-rise buildings has, generally,a lack of attention on the using efficience of the design results and research on the demands of the household. This paper adopts methods of post occupation evaluation, starting from the actual needs of users, based on theories of environmental psychology, sociology and architecture, with the aid of statistical and subjective evaluation of built environment, discusses the actual use and state of tower high-rise residential plane in Changsha, and obtains proposals on designs that satisfying actual demands.The thesis is made up of the following three parts:The first part is a study of features of tower high-rise residential plane of Changsha, it then summarizes plane features of Changsha tower high-rise residential building, and sets range for the selection of the evaluation indices. The second part focuses on the evaluation indices that suit for Changsha through literature research and field research, and in determining the evaluating objectives, process and content, establishes the post occupation evaluation system of the tower high-rise residential building in Changsha. The third part uses evaluating index system to post occupation analyze cases to get evaluation results and give design proposals.The thesis studies the post occupation of tower high-rise building plane in Changsha, it has theoretical and practical significance in advancing building quality, helping housing industry to promote business ethics in which the buyers、designers and the real estate developers can dialog equally, and in the construction of a Big Time of quality housing.
