As area restricted in early1960s, people did not recognize the special Xigeda soilcompletely. Geologic disasters such as landslip caused by rainfalls, earthquakes and otherfactors were happened usually. The properties of Xigeda soil were gradually recognized bypeople as the process of widely west developing of China. Many scholars did lots of about theproperties of Xigeda soil and slope engineering.In this article, preparing samples with same dry density but different moisture contents.Taking quick direct shear tests to revealing shear parameters (cohere and friction angle) underdiffer moisture contents. The result shows cohere of Xigeda soil change greatly whenmoisture content changing. The Xigeda soil cohere reducing linear with moisture contentrising, but the friction angle little effected by moisture contents. Taking Triaxial shearingexperiments of Xigeda soil, lime-soil and lime-soil reinforced with bamboo bars samples torevealing the changing mechanism by lime and reinforcement mechanism of bamboo to soil.Taking the Panzhihua football field slope as example, building slope model in ABAQUS,which is a finite element analyze software. Strength decreasing the slope under gravity withbamboo reinforced with bamboo and not.The result revealing that safety parameter of slopereinforced by bamboo bars is twice of slope reinforced not. Setting earthquake acceleration ofvertical and horizontal at the bottom of slope. The time-history analysis revealing that slopereinforced with bamboo bars can increase the ability of resist dynamic load. And have smallerplastic zone than slope without bamboo bars reinforced. Considering the13meters water headof artificial lake and underground reservoir at the upper level of the slope, block stones wallwas built in the slope and double row drainpipe were built at the bottom of the slope. Takingunsaturated leakage analyzing in ABAQUS revealing the leading and drain mechanism ofblock stones wall and drainpipe by leakage vector and equal value lines of pore pressurefigures.This slope has working for10years since it completed in2004. It still working normallyafter suffered Wenchuan earthquake at level8.0and Renhe earthquake in Panzhihua city atlevel6.0. This construct craft by setting bamboo bar meshes and inner block stone wall toimproving whole stability and ability of leading water has properties of economic, easyconstructing and getting materials conveniently. And should be spreading and taking asreference.
