Effects of plant water discharging predecessors did more research, but for the downstream regulation of building safety and protective measures less research results. This paper relies on the Lancang River olive dam-Manting Dashaba River, the physical model of power plant water discharge on downstream complex security influence Tan group regulation structure. Based on collection and analysis of previous release of clear water achievements and successful experience, focus on the analysis of the basis of the common downstream and renovation of buildings in the release of clear water scouring, under the action of sediment coarsening and the evolution process and results, and according to the result of requirement analysis put forward safety protection measures. The research results can provide technical support for the man hall Da Sha Ba Tan group structure safety and protection, also can be reference for solving similar problems.The main conclusions are as follows:in order to meet the requirements of the similar model test, the overall shape of the scour pit plane appear teardrop shaped. Depth variation at the beginning of the scour hole quickly, reach a certain depth, depth decreases, finally tends to be stable, the scour reaches equilibrium state. The maximum scour width scour pit for the sector, the front tip end is round, the longitudinal position of the maximum scour depth and maximum scour width consistent. Limit erosion condition, T2dam at the head of the scour pit depth reached maximum,5.5m.
