In recent decades, vibrating screening machinery has been developed very promptly in our nation and around the world. As a new type of machinery, it has been applied widely in various production departments. Along with the rapid development of screening machinery, competition between design and produce screening machinery enterprises has become increasingly fierce. Requirements of types and specifications of products have become higher while screening machinery is widely used by users and enterprises. At the same time, due to the poor working conditions of many screening machinery, requirements of product quality, life and reliability have become increasing high.Therefore, the research, design and manufacture of the screening machinery with excellent working performance and long life have become a very significant research subject. This paper, taking the agricultural linear vibrating classifying screen produced by a Yunnan manufacturer as the research object, analyses the working principle of the vibrating screen and establishes mechanical model and kinematics model of two main working components, which are the screening box and the balance part. And we calcu-late the parameter though the established models. Then we establish finite element model of screening box and frame of linear vibrating screener through the ANSYS Workbench. We mesh it and made the static, modal analysis, transient dynamics, fati-gue analysis. We found some weak link in the vibrating screen.At the same time, this paper also analyzes the reliability index of the vibrating screen. In addition we also list some common faults of vibrating screen and according-ly puts forward some improvement solutions, which could also improve the reliability of vibrating screen.
