With the rapid economic development and the remarkable improvement of people’s living standards, on a global scale, more and more people treat travel as a way of leisure to pursue a spiritual life while they are enjoying the rich material life. According to statistics, the average of vacation is115days per year for Chinese people, including weekends, the Spring Festival, Golden Week and etc. So people can use2or3days for a regional tourism and use minor vacation for a long distance travel. Changes in the environment also become one of reasons that people hope to get to nature for relaxation and adjustment. In the city, there are dense population and increasingly serious environmental pollution. The development of science and technology is often accompanied by the destruction of the natural environment. In fact, man and nature are interdependent. People not only have natural instincts to beclosed to nature but also yearn for a better living space. More and more people want to experience the nature and the original taste of life to an even greater extent. The Tourist Service Center comes into being due to the need of modern tourism. The information present ation, explanation and consultation at the service center allow visitors to have a deep understanding of the human geography and local customs. Meanwhile it provides the visitors with high qualiy tourism services.Based on the current situation of designing tourist service center and the existing of its problems, with a large number of case research and practical experience, this project is further analyzing the relationship between construction and internal and external space of tourist service center, approaching methods to the planning of indoor space and function, exploring the characteristics of the function and spatial construction of tourist service center, seeking the elements of Regional culture on interior decoration, putting forward the solutions towards the contradiction between construction and space, people and space, regional culture and modern culture.
