| The botanical garden as an important part of garden greenbelt is an important place for people to rest and relax. In recent years, plant garden is toward the development of a multi-disciplinary cultural, ecological,economic, etc. has become a symbol of ecological culture of a city or region.The richness and diversity of Chinese Rhododendron is the precious wealth of the world garden. And the Chinese Rhododendron is one of the ten traditional flowers in China because of its long history, profound culture and unique ornamental, loved by the people. However, our level of Rhododendron resource utilization is still relatively backward because our landscape industry is still in the stage of development, which needs to be improved. Therefore, to construct the botanical garden with Chinese characteristics, combined with our traditional flower-Rhododendron is a new development trend of Rhododendron. This article with the Rhododendron Garden summarizes the method and theory of the Rhododendron Garden landscape construction through the inductive analysis of the study on Rhododendron Garden related concepts at home and abroad, its development history, resources, characteristics and the botanical garden landscape construction theory, using the literature study, field research, disciplinary research, comprehensive studies and data analysis and summary. And Specific studies were analyzed from the following aspects:(1) analyzing and defining the related concept of the Rhododendron Garden and the domestic and foreign cases, summarizes the future development of the Rhododendron Garden is close to nature and open. According to the analysis of the development course of Chinese Rhododendron Garden, it summarizes our deficiencies, which can provide the reference and basis of improving our Rhododendron Garden construction in the future.(2) based on the research of the Rhododendron resources, this article introduces ecological habits of our common Rhododendron species and its ornamental characteristics and respectively summarizes the cuckoo ornamental, cultural, ecological and economic benefits. In addition, this paper analyses in detail the characteristics of Rhododendron Garden. Classification of Rhododendron Garden is also described, and emphatically introduces the characteristics of five kinds of Rhododendron Garden Garden produced according to the botanical garden scale and all kinds of the Rhododendron garden research and production, tourism, culture, education and economic development are the five major function in detail.(3) this article discusses the basic theory of the botanical garden landscape and summarizes four principles of Rhododendron Garden Landscape:respect for nature, suit one’s measures to local conditions, mining culture, highlight the theme. Then from the landscape planning and construction point of view the construction method and process in combination with other plant garden come to the preliminary analysis, landscape design concept, overall layout, function zoning, plant allocation and transportation planning six steps of Rhododendron Garden Landscape Construction method.(4) this article takes Hunan Dawei Mountain Rhododendron Garden of Forest Park as a case. Hunan Dawei Mountain Forest Park Rhododendron Garden landscape construction was practiced preliminarily through the principle of the method and the landscape construction and analysis of the Hunan Dawei Mountain regional characteristics and Rhododendron resources.Finally, this article makes a general summary of the whole research contents, conclusions, deficiencies and analysis, hoping to provide reference and direction for the research of Rhododendron Garden and the like. |
