Kindergarten is an important public building in a city. It is also a main place for children to accept pre-school education. Therefore, its environment is especially important for the development of infants’ health and psychology. Kindergarten is not only a material carrier of the infant education, but also a happy paradise of children.However, it is commonly exist that the garden landscape is not attached importance to. Therefore, how to create a landscape which is suitable for children to fully enjoy the life of kindergarten and the fun of learning, it is really a new problem that must be considered.This essay starts from children’s psychology and behavioral characteristics. Its research objects are the kindergartens and their design and planning items of Tianhe District in Guangzhou. To analyze the constitute elements and the design of kindergartens systematically, it uses research methods such as literature review, field survey, practical operation and so on. It also sorts out and offers the list of common plants which grows in kindergartens in Guangzhou. summarizes and concludes and gives advice on improving the environment design of the room of a kindergarten.It aims to be a supplementary reference for landscape design of kindergarten in Guangzhou area.
