Urban Green Space Planning In The Core Area Of Tianhe IBD, Guangzhou: A District Interpretation Under The Construction Of Sponge City Program

With the process of urbanization,the urban ecological problems have severely affected citizens’ daily life,caused enormous economic loss and threatened human beings’ lives.The Chinese government puts forward a plan for the construction of sponge city around the country,which is challenged because the effect is not obvious during the process.The academia appeals that the construction of sponge city should be suited to local conditions.As such,this article analyzes and researches the construction of sponge city of Tianhe Industry Business District(IBD).The research has great reference value to the construction of sponge city based on the site characteristics.The research is as follows:(1)This article traces back the stormwater management system at home and abroad,especially the stormwater management method in Asian countries.It points out the deficiencies of the urban stormwater management system in our country,and sums up the experience overseas.Accordingly,it clears the research direction.(2)Taking Guangzhou urban green space as research object,by analyzing the climate type of Guangzhou,the source of stormwater,the distribution of the urban green space and the planning of urban green space system,this article reaches a conclusion that the urban green space with huge potential in stormwater r management should have coequal effect as municipal stormwater system.(3)Taking Tianhe Industry Business District(IBD)as a research object,this article analyzes the urban planning at the macro-level,researches the model of water management at the meso-level,studies the layout and application of sponge facilities at the micro-level.And based on the field research after the Tianhe IBD is put into use,the author give an objective evaluation of sponge city construction in it,found the deficiencies of urban green space landscape design and the construction of sponge city,then puts forward some modification suggestions on these problems.Through this study,we hope that we could provide a planning and design method for sponge city construction in urban green space in Guangzhou.Avoid the unreasonable way to construct the sponge city.which is of great value for the urban green space planning and construction of sponge city according to the original characteristics of the site.
