With the quick update speed of the aircraft product and aggravation of the market competition ofaircraft maintenance, it is imperative to develop the aircraft maintenance management informatizationfor aviation enterprises. In order to achieve the information management automation, improve thelevel and quality of the maintenance management, an aircraft maintenance information managementsystem is developed in this paper. By using modern information technology means, such as computertechnology, network technology and database technology and so on, we can carry out the integratedmanagement of all information in aircraft maintenance activities, implement resources sharing andmanagement informatization of aircraft maintenance business.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1) Requirements of the aircraft maintenance information management system are analyzed.According to the current situation and the basic demand of the users, combined with the organizationstructure and business process of the aircraft maintenance business departments, the function andperformance requirements of the system are confirmed. The overall structure of the system isdesigned from three aspects: technical architecture, development mode and physical schema.(2) The system use-case model is described by using the UML unified modeling languageincluding participants identify, use cases capture and use case filing, and on this basis, the paperestablishes the static structure model, the dynamic behavior and the physical model of the system.Through certain rules, maps the object classes and relationship which belongs to the entity classesof the information model, database for the aircraft maintenance information management system isdesigned.(3) The interface and function of each module are designed through ASP.NET developmentplatform, and the aircraft maintenance information management system based on B/S structure modelis developed by using C#language and SQL Server2005database management system. Combinedwith the specific query function module, the data query processing and optimization strategies arestudied.In the aircraft maintenance department of the enterprise, the system has already been put intooperation, resulting in improving the efficiency of maintenance business, quality of management andservice as well as the overall informatization level.
