With the development of the information technology and aggravation of the market competition of maintenance industry of aviation, it is imperative to realize the Aircraft maintenance management inFORMationization.The application and development of Aircraft Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS) based on web mainly in thesis has carried on research and discussion. At first, the paper makes the summary of the domestic and international Aircraft maintenance situation at present. According as the actual conditions of one plane repair factory, the paper analyses the existing problem and style of the Aircraft maintenance management in this factory, discusses the necessity of standardized Aircraft maintenance management, and has put forward the framework thought of AMMIS based on web.Then the paper demonstrates the process to system modeling, analysis and design making use of Object-oriented technology and UML, describes and analyses especially expression result to the user's needs and system model of UML view. The systematic model to consistency of the user's needs model is proved, and the superiority of using Object-oriented thought is announced in the software researches and develops. The paper has put forward system ensemble frame mode relying mainly on B/S structure and complemented of C/S structure, and discussed the superiority of choosing Java as the programming language and Oracle database as stores for the data; Finally, the paper describes the implementation and running situation of AMMIS based on web, and summarizes the relevant technology and question in the development course of application system. The exiting shortcomings of system are analysed, the future of Aircraft Maintenance Company inFORMationization is prospected.The research results of the thesis will use the development to the second stage of project engineering of the system directly, that helps to accelerate the project progress and improve the development level. It is great reference meaning to apply the advanced technology of web, UML and Java to management of aviation maintenance further.
