××satellite based on MEMS is a kind of new-concept micro-nano satellites thatconducts an integrated design of××and plate satellite platform. In the workingcondition, the deformation antenna panel of the××satellite will make a arraydistortion caused by thermal transmission and mechanical motions and change thelauching configuration, thus it will cause transmitted beam distortion and beam pointingerror which will decrease the performance of the antenna. Therefore, the detection ofthe antenna panel distortion and the correction of the beam phase should be the key toguarantee the performance of the system. A new approach for displacement detection ofsatellite phased-array antenna based on strain measurement is proposed in this artical.Aiming at the displacement of the antenna panel, this approach work out the panelbending function and the distortion distribution curve based on the theory of elasticityaccording to the strain data on the surface of the phased-array antenna panel. In thisdissertation, the researches about the distortion measurement of the antenna panel areshown as follows:1. The mathematical model of the deformation of the flexible antenna array unit isestablished, the mathematical relationship of the rectangular plate displacement andsurface strain is worked out based on the rectangular sheet small deflection bendingtheory and the panel bengding function is solved by working out the partial differentialequation.2. A strain measurement test system is designed and the structural design of therectangular plate and support foundation is accomplished. According to the strainmeasurement plan, the measuring circuit has been linked and the poisson’s ratio ofrectangular plate material has been measured. The surface strain of the rectangular platehas been measured also, at two loading conditions of gravity load only, gravity load andapplied load joint action.3. The strain data has been analyzed and processed by using MATLAB, the surfacestrain distribution curve and function are given by the interpolation and fitting of thestrain data in terms of cubic spline surface and the principle of least squares. Therectangular plate bending function image has been rendered and the distortindisplacement has been compared with ANSYS simulation results to verify the accuracyof the experiment. Afterwards, the analysis of the error sources has been performed andthe the improvement measures are proposed.
