| Electrical and mechanical installation is an important and indispensable part ofthe public buildings, it involves many disciplines and professions, and it has a longconstruction cycle. Today, building scale is growing increasingly great, mechanicaland electrical installation engineering is growing increasingly complex, so itstechnical requirements have become more sophisticated and require a very highdegree of coordination between the various professional.In recent years, BIM as a new concept, it comes to planning, theory of design, tothe construction, maintenance and a series of technological innovation andreformation, for the realization of the building life cycle management, improvementof scientific and technological level of the design, the construction, and the operationof the construction industry. It also can promote the informatization andmodernization of the construction. BIM has important application value and broadapplication prospects. It is the development trend of the information technology inconstruction industry.This paper focuses on the application status of BIM in public constructionprojects at home and abroad of the electrical and mechanical installation, electricaland mechanical installation project management, and the content and methods of theapplication of BIM technology implementation project management. For mechanicaland electrical installation works, the traditional two-dimensional constructiondrawings can not completely eliminate the hard collision, soft collision, resulting inthe possibility of errors that may exist during the construction phase loss andrework.But BIM in the mechanical and electrical installation projects can achieve theprofessional collaborative design, pipeline collision checking and coordination,organizations simulation of mechanical and electrical construction and applied to thecost of installation project management medium in many aspects. For the owners,designer, construction side and operational side it has a very important value.Therefore, in the public buildings which are increasingly complex, it is very necessaryto introduce BIM in the phase of mechanical and electrical installation engineering toconduct the management of the construction projects.Meanwhile, this paper uses typical case analysis method, combined with apractice cases (JiangTai Business Centre) to introduce the application of BIMtechnology in mechanical and electrical integrated pipeline arrangement, engineering statistics, simulation of construction organization in detail to verify the value of BIMin mechanical and electrical installation in construction management. |
