Research Of Interface Management For Schedule Control In Nuclear Power Projects

The development of nuclear power is an effective way to realize the harmoniousdevelopment of economy, society and ecological environment, which is the inevitablechoice of China to develop economy. Effective management is an exclusiverequirement for a nuclear power project’s accomplishment, which covers startup,planning, implementing, monitoring and ending. Schedule control is the key of anuclear power project, and the schedule is the principle of all activities and allparticipants. It is a significance to study the application of interface management forschedule control in nuclear power projects.Based on the principle of process, the schedule control in nuclear power projectsis detailed. Firstly, the idea of “one center, two basic requirements, three control items,four resource management items” is emphasized. Secondly, the way of scheduling anuclear power project is shown. Lastly, the setup of operation and schedule plan isintroduced briefly.The interface management for schedule control is selectively studied. On the onehand, in the abstract, the interference management in design, purchase-worksite,construction-installation, installation-commissioning, and commissioning-operation isexplained. On the other hand, as a representative example of application of interfacemanagement in nuclear power projects, the interface control manual (ICM) applied innuclear power station is detailed, which covers management mode, superiorities,classifies of interference, concrete model, principles of compiling, principles ofinterchanging information and use of the ICM.It can be summarized from kinds of practical applications of ICM in a number ofnuclear power projects that interface control manual (ICM) is an effective way ofschedule management in nuclear power project, and is the priority among priorities innuclear power project management.
