Wind Resistance Reliability Analysis And Evaluation Method Study On Frame Tent Structure

Tent structure is light and convenient to open and package, it has been widelyapplied in military and civil engineering. Whereas the lifespan and function of the tentstructure are different from ordinary building structures, at the same time, its smallstiffness makes the structure more sensitive to wind load. At present, relatedspecification in our country has not provided any appraisal methods to these structures;foreign research on the reliability appraisal method of the structure is in its infancy yet.Based on the analysis result of the full-scale static test of the frame tent structure, thisarticle carries out wind resistance reliability research on tent structure, discusses thesecurity classification principles of the tent’s constructional element and the methods ofreliability appraisal for this structure, thus provides the basises for tent structure’sdesign, application and inspection.Firstly, the paper based on the full-scale static test’s results of the frame tentstructure, analysises the internal forces and displacement change rule of the frame tentstructure, when the structure has or has not wind rope and suffers90°wind loads at thesame time; then writing the program of truncated JC to calculate the reliable indicator oftent structure’s artifacts in all state. According to its short service life, the paper thendiscusses the security classification principles of the frame tent structure at its capacitylimit state.Secondly, on the basis of the test’s result of the frame tent structure,this paperestablished the failure criterion of the frame tent structure’s system preliminary, thendiscusses the failure probability of wind rope and tent frame,and calculate the systemfailure probability of the frame tent structure in all states.The last, Based on the above analysis and calculation results, taking example by the related ideas of reliability appraisal standards for existing structure, and considerringtent structure its stress and the particularity of function, this paper discusses the methodof reliability assessment to frame tent structure.
