| Along with the development of the construction industry and the realty business,great deals of the exiting buildings are in problem of the safety and usage, soreliability evaluation of the old buildings becomes certain need. In the old time, weappraised the construction by the method of the traditional experience generally, itscharacteristic is that the result decides on personal or the minority appraiser'sexperience , and there are no uniform standard, so the conclusions usually vary fromperson to person. Since 1999, 《Standard for appraiser of reliability of civil buildings》having been putted in practice, canonical procedure and ways comes into being.Regarding Civil buildings as the researchable object, this text puts up moreanalysis and research on method of appraisal of reliability of the old buildingsrepresenting development current in the future on base of domestic and overseas studydata. Put forward the concept:" standard-period of evaluating", and set up randomprocess model for live load in "standard-period of evaluating"based on the formerdata. Formula for parameter is also deduced. Model of structure resisting force isfounded on the model of reinforcing steel bar strength, the model of concrete strengthand model of steel corrosion ratio. In this text, formula of instant reliability and periodreliability of structure is gived according as basic calculating principle. In the end, anexample is gived, which is analyzed by period reliability model for the structureestablished in this text. Compared with the method in the criterion, means in this textis proved more according with practice, and more valuable.According to the model founded in this text and the current regulations of <>, the reliability appraisal softwareof Civil buildings is programmed for the purpose of project application. This softwarehas the excellence of friendly interface, simple and convenient opration, fluencyrunning and so on .So, it is easy for technician to use it ,and is practical for theengeering.
