Any structure of the building is to be used, that is to make building structure in service complete its intended function. But, due to the dual reason that structures were in the natural environment and using environment for long time. Component appear aging. Reinforced appear corrosion. This reasons lead to the function of structure and reduced gradually; How to evaluate the damage law and the damage degree scientific and effectively,determine its service life again,improve its utilization rate reasonably, safeguard life safety, reduce negative benefit, make better service to the society. So, we should strengthen the Reliability appraisal and life prediction research, it will produce the important social meaning and bring the huge economic efficiency to us. In summary, the research on it has been one urgent and the stern topic at present.This paper apply the architectural structure theory, material science, the technology of the structure detection, reliability appraisal theory, life prediction analysis theory, the durability of engineering structure, each kind of examination and appraisal standards, appraisal analysis systems and so on; The structure subject of the Industrial Workshop in Luoyang city was carried on detection, reliability appraisal, life prediction and analysis, and various procedures development correlation theories computation analytical study. Determine the reasonable number of years used. The main issues and results are as follows.(1) This chapter elaborates the reason and the significance of examination and appraisal, point out some survey and existence damage of the existing workshop structure(2) Based on the reliability evaluation standard of industrial workshop (shortened form:GBJ144-90). Through spot investigation examination and analysis. Structure detection and reliability appraisal were carried on the workshop structure layout, bearing structure system, palisade structure and so on. Further, evaluating the comprehensive level. Put forward some reasonable solution proposals to improve structure durability so as to offer some reasons for the life prediction.(3) Based on the reliability evaluation standard of industrial building (shortened form:GB50144-2008). The durability evaluation was carried on in different period, checking the feasibility of the first forecast and putting forward the next target use fixed number of year after the suggestion of reinforcements were processing.(5) The research work of this thesis has been summarized, and the research trends in the future are has been forecasted.
