Research On Geometry Innovative Design For Product Based On NURBS Curve Technology

Product design considers not only the function, but also the art of factors.In order toattracts consumers, any one product must rely on certain shape, because it is the primaryfactor of product information, In addition,it also the key that the product structure, internalinformation into external factors. therefore, geometry innovative design method andtechnology has always been one of the key issues in the field of product appearance modellingdesign.Firstly,this paper introduced how to use coreldraw, Photoshop, image contour extractionsoftware and MATLAB to get feature line from case pictures,and how to use PRO/E softwareto get geometric characteristic lines from three-dimensional model.Secondly,this paper takethe Electric car cover for example to explored the application of NURBS curve and surface inproduct modeling geometry expression. Including the method of obtain data points, controlpoints, node vector parameter and the calculation method and process.In addition, this paperalso summarized the unified expression method of using NURBS curve and surface to expressthe geometry when products have same or similar functions.Thirdly,used Microsoft Access,MATLAB, ODBC and other digital tools to build a curve and surface informationmanagement system for managing product-related information, and read the information inthe repository, using MATLAB software simulated the curve and surface.Finally, this paperfurther researched the BP neural network and genetic algorithm in the application of productform design.And Constructed neural network model based on product geometry and customersatisfaction.On the basis of the model,this pape also developed the appearance modelinginnovative design system with MATLAB software,and analyzed the relationship betweenlocal and the overall on one product.
