With the rapid development of the technologies, more and more aviation instrument equipment are emerging.Development of a full-featured and flexible aviation instrument signal simulator has become more and more important for the repairing and servicing of the devices. Most of the traditional simulator use the design of hardware circuit to implement,analyse and process by the PC.It is poor versatility,low-precision control and hard to connect with the ATE.In this thesis,a method of design and implementation of a new and Programmable aviation instrument signal simulator based on DSP is proposed.The design of simulator can be send and receive the signals of ARINC429bus and flight attitude signal. The system design idea is presented based on the analysis of the design requirements. The hardware design of the system uses the TMS320F2812DSP of the TI Inc as the main controller,includes the minimum system based on DSP,the level switching circuit and the data transceiver circuit.In the design,HS-3282and HS-3182chips special for ARINC429data are used in data sending and receiving circuit;12ZSZ/XSZ and12SZZ/SXZ converter of the716institutes for rotation angle signal are used in measuring and sending circuit.The essay makes a detailed description of each design, including the model selection of the processor and related interface circuit.The system software using Code Composer Studio(CCS) of the TI Inc for TMS320series DSP, easy to extend and modify. Software design includes system initiation,ARINC429bus data sending and receiving program, rotation angle signal measuring and sending program,display data in real-time program etc.All the modules of the simulator were tested at the end of this paper. And it is concluded that every portion has met the requirements.This system features small sive, simple operation and versatility,greatly facilitate the repairing and servicing of the aviation instrument devices.
