To narrow the gap with the world’s advanced countries in manufacturing industry, defense industry, space technology as well as energy conservation,depth research of the AC servo control technology has important significance. Permanent magnet synchronous motor has a lot of advantages such as relative simple structure, high flux density,high power density and Small rotating inertia. These characteristics make it the hotspot in AC servo study. The subject aims to design a new AC servo circuit board based on Infineon microchip to drive single-axis servo turntable.First of all, on the basis of the principle and vector control theory of permanent magnet synchronous motor, this paper use coordinate transformation to simplify the permanent magnet synchronous motor complex mathematical models. Adopt id = 0 control strategy for surface mount motor embedded in turntable and get the controlled model which is similar to separately excited DC motor. Then this paper analyze space vector pulse width modulation principle and implementation steps. Followed by the current and speed closed loop system simulation model was built under Simulink environment. The simulation has complete the synchronization motor vector control and this simulation has designed several PI parameters to improve the dynamic characteristic of cross-axis and direct axis current when the motor starts or is applied sudden load on its rotor.Secondly, I completed the design of AC servo system hardware experiment platform. This platform consists of the control board and power board. The control board take the Infineon 32-bit industrial microcontroller XMC4500 minimum system as the core. This board support coarse dual channel rotary transformer excitation and position demodulation as well as serial communication between control board and PC. The power board achieve power conversion as well as parameter measurement and protection functions. Infineon’s IGBT module FB20R06W1E3 and driving chip 6ED003L06 is the core part of power conversion to achieve rectifier and inverter of single-phase AC power supply. In addition, the power board supports bus voltage and current measurement as well as phase current measurement. To prevent the damage of servo system due to over-voltage over-current, I designed multiple layers of protection in the level of hardware and software respectively.Thirdly, I completed the design of AC servo system software experiment platform based on KEIL 515 environment. Program consists of the main program, an interrupt routine and function subprograms. In addition, the usage about commonly used peripherals in motor control of XMC4500 was analyzed in detail especially the configuration of the digital demodulation unit DSD module and the on-chip AD simultaneous sampling configuration. This article provides references to development designers who use the Infineon chip.Finally, I tested the built servo system through a series of experiments. Then I made some comparisons between the test results and the results of simulation analysis. In the end by the comparison of test results with principle and simulation results, the system function is verified.
