"Old before getting rich," the status is the aging population of current and futuremust be faced and an important social issues and resolve design issues. Currently,affected by the level of economic and social ideas, our home care model is still based,supplemented by social pension model, while the elderly because of the cause of thepresent study is still in the primary stages of learning, research on elderly familybathroom design also not deep enough, bathroom design seniors still can not meet thecurrent status of the aging population, designed to meet our old before getting richpopulation aging sanitary facilities, and to achieve the "sense of security" hasextremely important implications.With the improvement of the social-economic level, according to Maslow’shierarchy of needs, the elderly in the lower hierarchy of needs are met, they willgenerate higher demand. Because home care is the country’s main pension model,therefore, the elderly household products should be designed to get attention for theelderly designed to meet the elderly physiological, psychological, behavioralcharacteristics of sanitary facilities, enabling them to safety, comfort, convenienceindependent use, which can not only reduce the burden on the younger generation,and can ease the pressure brought on Aging in varying degrees. As a design goal, weshould try to meet the needs of the current development of this older age groups.The innovation of this paper is the "intelligent design" concept applied to oldersanitary facilities, and by studying the old bathroom design "intelligent" concept putforward to intelligent design to study old bathroom facilities designed to create ahumane old sanitary environment in which older people live better.
