With the rapid development of the automobile industry and the needs of theengine growing day by day, the scale of production and manufacturing level of enginemanufacturing enterprises are increasingly promoting. At the same time, the globalwarming and the excessive consumption of non-renewable energy have become anurgent problem, which human beings must take it seriously and find ways to solve. Todeal with it, our country has put forward a call of developing with quality and speed,and taken a series of measures to strengthen environmental protection and energyconservation and reduction of emission. Finally, we can realize Scientific Outlook onDevelopment.Based on the lean production as the guiding ideology, combined with theindustrial engineering theory, this paper analyses the necessity of setting up newengine factories, which are green, energy-saving and environment-friendly. This paperstresses on the overall thoughts of setting up a green, energy-saving engine factory,and has built a scheme on such factories like that.This paper, applying multi-disciplinary theories and knowledge, with green,energy-saving, environmental protection as a goal, with casting, machining and thecharacteristics, needs of assembly tests, expounds the engine factories’ buildingstructure, heating ventilation and protections of factories’ environment, and othergreen energy conservation designs.This paper focuses on the feasibility study of the design of factories’ dustventilation system, and saving energy and improving working environments as a goal,building a brand new design of factories’ dust ventilation, which combined withheating and ventilation, and has given an idea of solving problems of factories’environment and heating in winter in the casting industry.At the same time, this paper sets reducing the operating costs as a goal, carryingout feasibility study of the implementation of system function, the selection ofequipment, the application of new energy and new technology, building a green,energy-saving construction model of engine factory, with advanced energy-savingideas and schemes of technical optimization of factories.
