According to CHinese industry standard (JBJ10-96),the form of ventilation and dustremoval in workshop which has changeable dust source is general ventilation. As far as the largeworkshop with changeable dust is concerned, the general ventilation is expensive, depletive, and,at the same time, can't meet the request of environmental protection. The problem of largeworkshop in air conditioning engineering has already been solved by the theory of stratified airconditioning. This paper takes the analogous method the first time,using jet airflow to cut offworkshop in the middle, and to deal with harmful substance in workshop with stratification and partitioned space allocation.The steel constructions workshop building of Bao ji bridge girder plant is typical largeworkshop, in which the main work procedure of sparge little steel ball and burnish is to eliminaterust and polish the surface of steel bridge workpiecs.During the process of burnishing, it willproduce large quantity of dust. As a result, it will bring about some harmful results, such asreducing the visibility in workshop, impeding the operation of workers,endangering healthy of people all around seriously, and polluting environment. This paper takes the steel constructions workshop building of Bao ji bridge girder plant as background, inquiring into using isothermallevel jet airflow to cut off workshop in the middle to organize airflow in it, attempting to resolvethe problem of ventilation and dust removal in large space which has changeable dust source.This paper adopt the κ ~ ε model of standard turbulence, apply staggered grid and finitevolume approach discrete equation analysis .
