The level of marshaling yard operational efficiency has an important influence on transport capacity of railway network. Marshaling yard daily work is issued in the form of the daily plan, In order to guarantee the completion of the daily plan, We usually divide the daily plan into several stage plans to guarantee the implementation. When the dispatcher establishes the stage plan, he needs to solve three problems. They are the wagon-flow, the shunting engines allocation optimization and track allocation optimization. Reasonable arrangements for the disintegration and marshaling order are very important for the full axis setting off. Reasonable arrangements for the use of shunting engines and tracks can improve the equipment utilization, guarantee the station open and improve the work efficiency.This article summarizes the research on stage plan establishment at first and point out the defects of present research work. In order to make the base for the following research, it makes a introduction to the woke system of marshaling yard. In dealing with the wagon-flow problem, it introduces in the earliest disintegration time and the lasting marshaling time, it constructs matrix to deal with the train continue. And then use the tree model to simulate the disintegration and marshaling work. Last it uses backtracking algorithm to solve the tree model. In dealing with the shunting engines use and tracks use, it constructs the graph model and converts the engines and tracks use into solving maximum matching for directed graph’s bipartite graph, and solves it with dual algorithm. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the number of engines, it also constructs a algorithm to adjust working intervals of shunting engines. Finally, It use the work conditions in Fengtaixi Marshaling Yard as testing example to verify the above models, rational optimization plan is obtained.
