The iron and steel enterprise is the pillar industry of national economy with enormous energy consumption, its energy-saving potential is tremendous. Now, many enterprises are still using a relatively extensive management mode in energy consumption statistics, analysis and management. Therefore, seeking a rapid, accurate and effective analysis method to achieve the delicacy management of energy has become the key of reducing energy consumption.This paper takes an iron and steel enterprise as an example, an energy consumption calculation model is established based on the input-output method, and its influencing factors of energy consumption are analyzed. The model is applied in the basis energy management system. This paper’s main content and research results are as follows:(1) The research of energy consumption calculation model in the iron and steel enterpriseThe definition of input and output is improved, and the calculation method of energy consumption index is perfected. By taking an iron and steel enterprise as an example, the idealization principle and product allocation principle is applied to preprocess the data, and finally the energy consumption calculation model in the iron and steel enterprise is established, laying the foundation for the energy consumption analysis.(2) The research of energy consumption analysis method in the iron and steel enterpriseBy using the e-p analysis method, the accuracy of the energy consumption calculation model is verified. By using the method of horizontal comparison, the gap of energy consumption index between this enterprise and other enterprises is analyzed. The method of index analysis is used to point out that the the energy consumption of ironmaking process has the greatest influence on the comprehensive energy consumption. Combined with the formation process of terminal product’s emergy, the rationality of the emergy as an energy consumption index is verified.(3) Research on the influential factors of energy consumptionBased on the energy consumption analysis model, the influence of different standard coefficients on energy consumption index is analyzed. The way how the coke ratio change influences on energy consumption index is studied. Meanwhile, the way how the iron-steel ratio change influences on energy consumption index is studied, and the influence of the price of steel scrap on the utilization rate is also studied. At last, the effect of energy conservation measures on the energy consumption index is analyzed.(4) The exploitation of basis energy management systemThe software and hardware architecture of basis energy management system is designed. By defining the reporting tool and energy information maintenance, the supporting platform is constructed. And the plan management, performance management, and energy consumption analysis module are exploited.(5) The application of the energy consumption analysis modelBy applying the energy consumption analysis model into the basis energy management system, the energy consumption of the enterprise is forecasted in a long term by the month and the result is used as the reference of energy plan. Meanwhile, based on the prediction of the production, the layout of the enterprise is optimized and its influence on the energy consumption is analyzed.
