The iron roughneck, as one of automatic equipment for wellhead, is safe, efficient and multi-function. The iron roughneck aims to finish the work as make-and-break and move down-hole tools. In the process of wellhead automation operation, iron roughneck is essential auxiliary equipment. The foreign researchers have done a lot for the development of iron roughneck, it has the characteristics of advanced design, reliable function and stable performance. In our country, this technology’s research and application is in the initial stages. The research subject of this thesis is a cooperative project with China Petroleum Liaohe Equipment Company, which is the design of a test system for the performance of track iron roughneck. It can detect and analysis all kinds of parameter in iron roughneck which is done. The performance analyzed of the iron roughneck shows that the iron roughneck reaches the base requirement. At the same time, we have a thorough understanding of the product performance. Finally, the test results provide valuable information for the improvements and design of iron roughneck.Based on the analysis of the structure and working principles of rail type iron roughneck, the detection bench is designed. By choosing the proper sensor, operational parameters are individually tested, such as car’s horizontal range, car’s vertically range, spinning wrench’s vertically range, line pressure, stress-strain, tubular pile’s rotate speed and torque. At the same time iron roughneck is equipped with the hydraulic system, in order to ensure equipment to run in gear. The experimental system used PLC to collect and process the data and control systems of hydraulic. The programming are accomplished with STEP7. In this article, the interface function is designed using Kingview software and touch screen, which realize real-time control, hydraulic control, synchronal animation, real trend, history trend chart, malfunction alert, printing and operator privileges etc. The system with the control core of PLC and the touch screen platform, through serial communication with computers, can achieve the date acquisition and processing. This system is featured with high precision, high stability and powerful disturbance resistance, can be used at its maximum processing capacity.The whole system is comprehensive, simple, reliable and visual. This system may be used in practical operations. It provides some reference for later detection of iron roughneck and continuous improvement. Meanwhile, it also provides a good reference to the detection of a similar device. |
