| As one of the high efficient and automated special machine in forging machinery, the multiple station cold heading machine processing the steel or non-ferrous metals to certain shaped parts, which use cold extrusion process without cutting or less cutting. And it is one of the most important means of plastic forming technology, also widely used in processing fasteners, standard parts and special-shaped parts.This paper is supported by the Nanjing Agricultural university cooperative company Nanjing tianer Technology Co., Ltd. And it analyses the existing problems in present machine by retrieval the related references, also the dynamic simulation analysis of crank slider for the main transmission mechanism of cold heading machine is carried out use the modern mechanical design method, the finite element theory and the dynamics analysis theory. The main box wall thickness is optimized based on ANSYS Workbench according to simulation results from ADAMS. Finally design a set of NC feed mechanism controlled by PLC and touch screen.The main research contents are as follows:(1) The three-dimensional model of cold heading machine 14B-6SL is established by the software Pro/E, the working principle of the machine is analyzed and the main parts of the machine is introduced briefly such as feed mechanism, material moving mechanism between multiple station and the cutting mechanism;(2) The dynamic simulation analysis of crank slider for the main transmission mechanism of cold heading machine is carried out by the software ADAMS. And a simulation scheme which use simplified model to replace the complex is put forward for the defects in the aspects of modeling of ADAMS, and the correctness has been verified in the follow simulations. The dimension of connecting rod in the crank slider mechanism is optimized based on the simulation result;(3) The static analysis, constraint and the free state model analysis of the main box is carried out based on ANSYS Workbench by the simulation result from ADAMS, and the stress, strain, mode of vibration are obtained. Finally according to the analysis result and the defects in the way design box wall thickness present, it proposes a fast way design the box wall thickness which can meet the performance requirements and saving material;(4) The present cold heading machine use the pure mechanical feeding mechanism, which exists these problems such as poor reliability, hard to adjust the feeding length and back feeding. So, this paper separate the material feeding mechanism from the cold heading machine, design a set of NC feeding mechanism with PLC and touch screen control system and the servo motor drives the ball screw, hydraulic clamping manipulator mechanical system;(5) Comparing the product precision, material utilization and machine efficiency through the production test on the same product with the cold heading machine and the traditional NC lathe;(6) The research content is summarized, and proposes the future research prospects in view of the problems encountered during the research. |
