The Significance And Communication Of Tea Culture From A Ritual View Of Communication

China is known as the homeland of tea, but also the birthplace of tea culture, tea culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. In this thesis, the theoretical perspective of ritualized communication, the tea culture spread as a multi-angle analysis study.Firstly, the thesis analyzes the tea culture and the current situation of the communication of tea culture from a macro perspective. It strives to define the concept of tea culture, summarize the means, characteristics and significance of tea culture communication, which paves the way for the details of the research.Secondly, the thesis regards the communication of tea culture as a ritual of cultural communication and concretely analyzes the constitution, the process of ritual from amicro-perspective. The elements of the ritual included the tea environment, tea mats and tea etiquette. The tea environment created a ritual spread field; the tea mats formed a ritual media; the tea etiquette constructed a ritual normative order. Symbolic ritual performances make tea culture to maximize the dissemination of results. The thesis takes the tea ceremony of a tea house for example, trying to parse the meaning of tea culture in the symbolic ritual performances of tea culture spread.Third, from the view of the symbol, the thesis regards the tea ritual as a symbolic system collection of cultural symbols. The tea ritual participants for expression and interpretation of cultural symbols, completing a symbolic media interaction of tea culture symbol.Fourth, the thesis discusses the effect of the spread of tea ritual, and considers tea ritual for participants to share the cultural significance and construction of the significance of the ritual of tea culture communication.Finally, through the analysis of the comparison with the coffee culture ritual,the thesis explores the propagation path of the tea culture under different cultural background and the research direction, trying to provide reference for the spread of tea culture.
