Study On The Spread Of Tea Culture Of Chaoshan In The Perspective Of Ritual View Of Communication

“Kung Fu Tea” is the most representative one in our country’s tea art.It is the symbol of Chaoshan district,rating as national "intangible cultural heritage".“Kung Fu Tea” is one kind of tea art,as well as folk custom.From the perspective of ritual view,this paper will analyze the cultural transmission of “Kung Fu Tea” in Chaoshan area.This paper defines the culture of the “Kung Fu Tea” from a macro perspective.Meanwhile,it organizes the three stages of the development of “Kung Fu Tea” from the diachronic perspective,analyzes the transmission of “Kung Fu Tea”,summerizes the reason and the feature for the wide spread of “Kung Fu Tea”.With the emergence of the media,the ritual position of “Kung Fu Tea” has changed a lot: important-weakening – re-strengthening.This paper will analyze “Kung Fu Tea” from the elements of the communication rites,the process of communication and the specific features of the rites,which is regarded as a cultural communication ceremony.Through research,the author finds that ritual can be launched in private and public fields and the process of ritual propagation is not the same in different environments.The biggest difference between“Kung Fu Tea” and other tea art is that the “Kung Fu Tea”,in addition to the ritual performance,also includes the universal mode which has become a daily necessary ceremony for people to share information and identity by participating in the ceremony.The main feature of the ceremony is the symbolic interaction.Through the analysis of the symbols in the ritual process,the author discusses the cultural connotation of the culture of work tea,namely,"harmony,respect,delicacy,and happiness".Through the modern vicissitudes of “Kung Fu Tea” ceremony,this paper discusses the influence of economic development and mass media on “Kung Fu Tea” ceremony.The development of the economy accelerates the life rhythm of the Chaoshan people,prompting more and more people to go out of Chaoshan distinct and gradually decreasing the ceremony of taking part in the “Kung Fu Tea” ceremony.The occurrence of traditional media has made the traditional ritual lose part of its function and significance,and its educational and recreational functions have been weakened,thus weakening the “Kung Fu Tea” ceremony influence on Values and sense of belonging for the Chaoshan nationality.This affects the stability and continuity ofChaoshan culture.The emergence of the new media,breaking the time and space restrictions,create a sense of presence through the reality and virtual "field".This makes the ritual return and enhances the people’s ethnic identity,so that the Chaoshan culture can be inherited and developed through the new media ritual.
