In recent years, the chemical enterprises accidents continue to occur, caused incalculable loss of personnel and property to the enterprise, and therefore the comprehensive identification risk has become a target that chemical enterprises are looking for. HAZOP is currently the most widely used system method for the risk identification on the international, which played a significant utility in the chemical industry for its unique advantages. However, this method starts late in our country, and the applications is narrow, and mostly confined to the qualitative analysis,managers can’t according to the specific size of the risk make a reasonable allocation of resources during dangerous control.Therefore, on the base of summarizing the HAZOP current research at home and abroad,according to the characteristics of chemical enterprises,this article presents a hazard analysis and quantitative methods based on the probability theory and risk theory, and with the established quantitative method, carries on the HAZOP analysis of liquid ammonia tank, which has a important theoretical and practical significance for the gas leakage prevention and control of chemical enterprise. Thesis research results as follows:(1)Rely on the probability theory, through the analysis of the characteristics on the probability function, selected the normal distribution function to compute the variability probability of the three common parameters on causing leakage accident, at the same time, the method of solving the parameter expected value and standard deviation are presented.(2)combined with deviation functioning model, according to the variability probability of the different parameters, respectively established the calculation method of the leakage accident probability under the deviation separate role and interaction mode; while from the perspective of accident consequence casualties radius, gives the calculation of the radius and the casualties caused by the leakage accident from the fire, explosion and toxicity, realized the quantification of the possibility and consequences severity.(3)Based on the ALARP principles and risk matrix, combined with F-N curve method to determine the upper and lower of the leaking risk acceptable standard, realized the riskquantification.(4)Using the established method of HAZOP risk quantification for the liquid ammonia tank HAZOP qualitative analysis, determined the risk of different variability section, and given some risk control measures.
