| As a kind of advanced production methods and ideas, Lean production has two pillars that are punctuality and automation. And its core idea is the elimination of waste and the continuous improvement, in order to achieve material’s smooth flow and pull. S machine tool Limited company SJ branch company(referred to as SJ company) is a state-owned large enterprise. Its overall production efficiency is low. And there is a lot of waste and unreasonable process and high production costs. In order to improve the enterprise’s production management efficiency, shorten the delivery cycle, improve customer satisfaction, effectively import and implement lean production, improving the production efficiency and reducing the cost of SJ company become the imperative problem to be solved by SJ company.This paper, based on the time and action analysis theory, improves the lean production assembly line of the SJ company’s machine tool parts, according to the seven parts of waste. Firstly, this paper analyzes the current situation of production management, points out the problems of production management, and analyzes the root of these problems. Then, with the guidance of lean thinking, we use the lean tools to optimize scheme. And we solve some main problems, such as unbalanced process, unreasonable layout and low efficiency of logistics. After we eliminate a lot of waste and non value added work, we make the relevant guidance documents to standardize the improvement effects. This improved analysis results show that the number of operators is reduced, the manufacturing cycle is shortened,the semi-finished products are reduced, production efficiency improves 14.2% and the number of logistics personnel is reduced by 2 people. All these reduce waste for companies and improve efficiency. And they also lay a good foundation to promote the new improvement project. They provides certain reference and lessons for other equipment manufacturing enterprises in the application of lean production. |
