| In recent years the new wall insulation sheet based on modern energy-saving technology has drawn professionals’ attention, particularly polyurethane insulation sheet is well received because of its low thermal conductivity, good insulation effect, high energy saving and waterproof performance. However, domestic production equipment for manufacturing polyurethane insulation sheet is still in a low degree of automation, high energy consumption and poor productivity level, upgrading of its control system has become an important subject.The paper does an in-depth research of polyurethane sheet production line and improves its control method in terms of control principles, hardware configuration, software design and system debugging, specific contents are as follows:(1) Researching the components of pipeline control system, analyzing the control principles and characteristics of each machine and designing a centralized control system based on PROFIBUS-DP field bus by using Siemens PLC.(2) Studying the factors affecting the quality of products from the perspective of uniformity of material and temperature of chemical reaction field, analyzing horizontal and vertical density characteristics of polyurethane sheet and finding control ways to improve the density uniformity of sheet. Replacing original PID control method with cascade PID and discussing the fuzzy Cascade PID to raise the level of temperature control.(3) According to the characteristics of each model, selecting the appropriate electrical control components, configuring the hardware and describing the control principles; programming and analyzing control processes of the production line software architecture and function distribution based on centralized control theory minutely and describing the PLC programming steps; finally from the operator’s point of view, the project designs a HMI software which is screen-friendly, full-featured and easy to use.(4) Describing the steps and principles of hardware debugging and analyzing the control effects and direction of further improvement. |
