In recent years, the haze occurs frequently and air pollution is getting worse in Shijiazhuang. From January 2013, large-scale fog and haze occurred frequently in urban area. For this phenomenon, we collected daily pollutant(PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO2)mass concentration data which from 8 monitoring points and climatological data to analyse the characteristics of air pollution in Shijiazhuang, the correlation between concentrations of air pollutants and the influence of geographical location, weather condition and pollution source on the air pollution in Shijiazhuang by SPSS and put forward the relevant governance proposals.Then, atmospheric environmental quality monitoring website has been preliminary established. The main conclusions are as follows:1) In 2013,air pollution is serious in Shijiazhuang that only 50 days reached the standard. PM10 are the major pollutant in Shijiazhuang city that as the primary pollutant were 208 days. the average daily concentrations of PM2.5, PM10 and NO2 are 154μg/m3,306μg/m3 and 68μg/m3 respectively. The daily average of PM10, PM2.5 and NO2 level over the period exceeded the second grade of the daily average limit of the ambient air quality standards(GB3095-2012). The monthly concentration of the 4 kinds of air pollutants is similar that the pollutant concentrations in summer are lower and higher in winter.2) Atmospheric environmental quality monitoring website has been preliminary established. This website contain six parts which are Air quality index(AQI) values, Air quality index(IAQI) integrated trend, the value of IAQI of monitoring points,comparison of IAQI of monitoring points, Weather correlation analysis and The monitoring points list.3)The studies using SPSS software to explore the correlation between concentrations of air pollutants and meteorological factors. It shows that concentrations of air pollutant had negative correlations with air temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and precipitation, obviously with air temperature especially. As air temperature rised,concentrations of air pollutants were significantly decreased. Atmospheric pressure and concentrations of air pollutants were significantly positively correlated in winter. The ground is controlled by a low pressure which will help pollutants evacuate upwards. Wind speed and concentrations of air pollutants were positively correlated too. Such as the higher the wind speed,the lower the concentrations. In summer, precipitation has a great impact on concentrations of air pollutants. When the rainfull increased, the concentrations of air pollutants will decreased. Besides precipitation can reduce dust and it mainly getsrid of particulate matter.Based on the above researches, the cause of air pollution is revealed, andare put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the air quality of Shijiazhuang city.
