Oil and gas long distance pipeline is the artery of the energy industry in our country, the sustainable growth of pipeline accident rates and its serious consequences has sparked the thinking of essential safety of pipeline in recent years.There are few research achievements of essential safety in the oil industry in our country, the main application is confined to the chemical field of oil industry downstream.According to the dangerous and harmful factors existing in the whole life cycle of long distance pipeline, the essential safety of long distance pipeline are analyzed, researched by using essential safety evaluation method based on fuzzy theory.Based on researching, digesting and absorbing a large number of literatures, the paper expounds the research achievements of integrity management technology and the present situation of risk assessment technology, analyzes the characteristics of common essential safety evaluation methods. The paper puts forward the whole life cycle model based on two life and generalized essential safety concept of oil and gas pipeline, analyzes the influence of essential safety briefly at different stages in the whole life cycle.Based on analyzing domestic and foreign pipeline accident data, the paper analyzes the leading cause of pipeline failure accident cause and the risk factors among the planning, design, manufacture, construction and operation phase of the long distance pipeline using the fault tree analysis method, and establishes the fault tree of the essential safety failure risk of long distance pipeline. On the basis of evaluation index selection principle, long distance pipeline essential safety evaluation index system is constructed, the index weight is determined by applying the fuzzy group analytic hierarchy process and the judging standard of the underlying level evaluation index is established too.Aiming at the problems of risk factors’s complexity, randomicity and difficulty in quantifying qualitative indicators in oil and gas pipeline system, the paper introduces multistage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate it. In reference to the international general index system, the paper establishes long distance pipeline essential safety fuzzy evaluation model, expounds the evaluation process and divides the essential safety level standard, then compiles calculation program for the long distance oil and gas pipeline essential safety fuzzy comprehensive evaluation by using MATLAB software.Finally, in the case of ZG gas transmission pipeline, according to the above research theory and method, the paper realize the essential safety fuzzy evaluation to ZG pipeline, discusses the method to improve essential safety.
