CNCE7has made to flourish in the process of the reform and opening-up policy. However, the company has encountered many outstanding issues in the high speed development of nearly ten years, such as the low level of information, ineffective project monitoring, low utilization of resource. To conquer these bottlenecks in the development, Companies urgently need to use advanced information technology to enhance its soft power, the construction of ERP projects have emerged in this context.This paper, firstly, briefly describes the basic situation of the CNCE-7; using survey research method analyzes the outstanding issues in the management of the company; using literature review method clarifies the concept, the main stages of development, the ideological content, the main functions and implementation process of ERP. The specific process of implementation and application of ERP is elaborated in the context of CNCE7’s combing ERP theory and its practice. The study focuses on the CNCE-7’s the drafting of ERP project implementation plan, the optimization of the process, the secondary development and application process of software. Then, the paper actually studies that the CNCE7"s successfully puts the QHSE management system,the internal management system and perfect ERP connection and successful develops the"task guidance and supervision execution management system". Using comparative analysis method evaluates and analyses the application of ERP and "task guidance and supervision execution management system" in the CNCE-7.Finally, the paper summaries the obtainment and existing problems in the process of construction and application of the CNCE-7’s ERP project, and also put forward some suggestions when the chemical construction enterprises use ERP theory.Through the study of the CNCE7’s ERP project implementation and operation, Practice has proved that the ERP can be applied tochemical construction enterprises, such as like CNCE-7; Chemical Construction companies can use ERP to significantly improve efficiency, reduce construction costs, increase economic efficiency and enhance core competitiveness of enterprises; CNCE-7’successfully application of ERP offers great reference meanings to the chemical construction enterprises by using ERP in the future.
