With the acceleration of economic globalization, the domestic economic isrestructuring,and the competitive environment of domestic enterprises is undergoingdramatic changes. Confronted with foreign capital, brand and technology, theenterprise faces to problems of domestic staff demand awareness, customerdiversification, government environmental policy implementation and other issues.Therefore, the enterprises need to find new ways to improve business performance forensuring their sustainable development. Entrepreneurs’ social capital study groupsboth the Micro-level entrepreneurial behavior and the Macro-level group behavior,tofind new breakthrough for enterprise development. This article that explores how theentrepreneurs’ cognition of social capital affects enterprise performance,aims toresearch the reasonable rules among entrepreneurs’ cognition of social capital andcorporate performance, furthermore, to find the internal driving force forentrepreneurs to improve business performance.Through empirical researches, this paper explores and examines theentrepreneurs’ cognition of social capital impact on business performance, andintroduces corporate social responsibility as an intermediate variable. We build theperformance model among variables Then we choose managers as the researchobjects, and use SPSS statistical software for data analysis and hypothesis testing. Thehypotheses are largely supported.Based on the above findings we reach the following conclusions:(1)Entrepreneurs’ cognition of social capital has significant positive impact on corporateperformance including financial performance and non-financial performance.(2)Entrepreneurs’ cognition of social capital impacts corporate social responsibility andits four dimensions significantly and positively.(3) It is significant and positive thatcorporate social responsibility affects corporate performance, but the differencesamong the behavior of the various dimensions of corporate social responsibility onbusiness performance influencing each dimension exist.(4) Corporate Socialresponsibility plays an intermediary role in cognition of social capital in entrepreneurial and business performance relationship. Finally, future researchdirections are planed and suggested.
