Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, the political, finance,commercial and cultural center.By2012, the total number of the resident population is8,160,000, Nanjing is a city at large consumption with high population density. Development level of economic in Nanjing being a leading position in China, with the improvement of life quality and grade, the public demand for fruit will increase gradually. The fruit output of Nanjing local area unable to fullfil the demand of local consumers, need to import large quantities of fruits from all over the country and abroad. So, the efficiency of fruit delivery affects the living quality of the citizens of Nanjing city directly.In the current circulation mode, fruit supply system of Nanjing has the problems of long circulation,high cost of logistics,lack of quality and safety protection,unable to fufill the consumption demand of consumers on health, environmental protection, high quality. Therefore, studing on Nanjing fruit logistics delivery mode, has a certain theoretical and practical significance.Base on modern logistics and supply chain theory, study Nanjing fruit logistics mode, analyze the Nanjing fruit delivery in three aspects which is the main body of delivery,delivery technology and delivery mode, draw a conclusion that the problem of Nanjing fruit logistics is still at a lower level of development, delivery facilities are relatively backward, the fruit logistics at low degree of standardization, lack of information technology in logistics and did not form a complete cold chain.Finally, through in-depth analysis of the fruit circulation mode of Japan, the United States and other developed countries, summarize their advanced experience, proposes to optimize the Nanjing fruit logistics recommendations accordingly.
