Along with the development of national economy, the improvement of peoples’living standard, as well as the increasing prominence of city issues, urban residents’ demand for rural leisure tourism in outskirts grows gradually. Meanwhile, in order to transform the rural mode of production and accelerate the construction of new socialist countryside, the government encourages the development of rural tourism. With market demand and policy support, China’s rural tourism develops rapidly. Aagritainment is a carrier of rural tourism, and the rationality of its spatial distribution has a crucial effect on the healthy development of rural tourism. So far, among the related research at home and abroad, relatively less are on the spatial distribution of agritainment, and it is worthy to explore whether there is a certain regularity in its spatial distribution or not. Therefore, this paper attempts to take agritainment as research object, from the perspective of geography space, and make an exploratory study on the spatial distribution of Changsha agrtainment to enrich the theoretical system of rural tourism and meet the practical needs.Following the thought of " literature review-problem raising problem analyzing-problem solving-research conclusion", this paper aims at investigating the spatial distribution of Changsha agritainment in terms of the nearest neighbor index, kernel density analysis, buffer analysis, Gini coefficient, Lorenz curve, scale index and dominance index, and cluster analysis. The results show that:(1) The nearest neighbor index of Changsha is R=0.633<1indicating that he spatial distribution of Changsha agrtainment is clustered.(2) In terms of the agglomeration degree, firstly, with kernel density analysis, it is found that Changsha agritainment tends to form its high-density agglomeration areas in the periphery of the central city, and then in the periphery of Liuyang City, the sub-center city of Changsha. Secondly, through buffer analysis, Changsha agritainment is found to be of zonal distribution, along the ricer system and road. Finally, the abstract simulation shows that Changsha agritainment is in a radial distribution featured with "dual-core, multi-band".(3) As for equilibrium degree, the analysis of Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve provides that agritainment is distributed unevenly in the districts of Changsha, mainly concentrated in the outskirts like Wangcheng District and Changsha County, but less in the central areas like Yuhua District, Tianxin District and Furong District. Then, by means of scale index and dominance index, we find that the agritaimrents in Wangcheng District, Kaifu District and Changsha County are of large concentration scale and high star level; those in Yuelu District are of large concentration scale, but little of high star level; the agritainments in Liuyang are not of large concentration scale because of its big regional area, but with high star level. Finally, cluster analysis tells that Wangcheng District and Changsha County are the diffusion effect areas of agritainment; Yuelu District and Kaifu District, the polarization effect zareas; Liuyang City, the transition effect zone; Yuhua District, Tianxin District, Furong District and Ningxiang County, the backward effect areas.(4) This paper also studies the factors which affect the spatial distribution of Changsha agritainment. The results indicate that the spatial distribution of Changsha agritainment is mainly affected by natural geographical environment, traffic conditions, social environment and tourism resources. In addition, on the basis of previous analysis, combining with the spatial distribution of Changsha agritainment and its influencing factors of distribution, this paper proposes the optimal measures for the spatial distribution of Changsha agritainment.
