Impact On Urbanization In Chongqing Industrial Structure

Since1997, Chungking is the youngest municipality, and which is the only municipality under the central government in the southwest of China. At the present stage, the government proposed to further explore the development of the western area, expand the inland open, establish the Silk Road Economic Belt and build the development strategy for the Yangtze River Economic Belt, which open up new space for the development for Chungking at the strategic crossroad. At present, Chungking belongs to the less developed areas, which is at the key point of regional development, urban and rural development, accelerating the transformation of development mode, and speeding up the formation of internal growth mechanism, the goal of which is to better play the municipality directly under the central government policy advantage and to accelerate the construction of national central city and the important growth pole of the economic center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and western region. This dissertation is to research under the background of the era development. Urbanization is the important task for the Urban and rural development in Chungking and industrial structure is the most important factor to influence the urban and rural economic development. Under the background of the information, industrialization and agricultural modernization, the optimization of the industrial structure adjustment ensure the urban and rural economic development and urbanization development safe and sound. In accordance with what is mentioned above, the subject of this dissertation is the impact of Chungking city industrial structure on the development on urbanization.Based on the relevant literature and theory study, this paper firstly analyzed the mechanism of industrial structure effect of Urbanization, then goes to the comprehensive analysis the present situation and existing issues in industrial structure and the urbanization development in Chungking, further analyze the relationship between industrial structure and the urbanization development. Subsequently, by means of econometric method and the empirical analysis, this paper studies the impact of Chungking city industrial structure on the development on urbanization. In the part of empirical analysis, selection of urbanization rate of the second and third industry output value, the industrial structure realization and index, and the second and the third industrial labor productivity variable index according to the Chungking statistical data of1997-2012, established time series regression model respectively on the quality and quantity of the impact of industrial structure on the development on urbanization. This dissertation is end up with the research conclusion, put up the limitations of this paper and put forward the suggestions for further study. II The present industrial structure and the urbanization are in the process of dynamic and constantly to the higher level development, but also prominently described in two yuan structure. The empirical results show that there is a kind of stable and long-term relationship existing among the Chungking urbanization and the second industry and the third industry accounts for the proportion and the industrial structure rationalization. The reality in Chungking is that the quality and quantity of the second industry development is better than the third industry. Meanwhile, the realization of industrial structure does not play the important role for urbanization. Combined with the actual development of the two or three industry of Chungking, which is situated in the medium-term industrialization, there is still a lot of room for the internal industrial structure to be improved. Moreover, the development of the third industry is not mature yet, especially the high-end service industry is still very weak. With the further development of urbanization, the third industry has a lot of room for the substantial growth and promotion at all levels.
