Study On The Impact Of Sichuan’s Industrial Structure Rationalization On Urbanization

After the high growth of more than 30 years,China has entered a “new normal” development,which is necessary to change the development model in time to alleviate the problems accumulated in the early years.Disequilibrium is the most prominent contradiction in the process of economic development and city construction in China.It is not only reflected in the inter-industry and inter-regional,but also reflected in the widening gap between urban and rural areas,then caused the inefficient use of resources and the prominent dual structure.Under the background that the Party and the government attach great importance to the coordinated development of social economy,this paper studies the influence that the rationalization of industrial structure made on urbanization from the perspective of factor allocation,takes Sichuan Province as an example and makes detailed analysis.Firstly,this paper analysis the mechanism that industrial structure rationalization affects urbanization.Secondly,using the statistical data over the years,it analyzes the general situation of industrial structure adjustment and urbanization development of the four major urban agglomerations in Sichuan Province.Thirdly,the paper makes an empirical test by using the panel vector autoregressive model.Finally,some corresponding suggestions are put forward.Result shows that the industrial structure of each region in the province presents different trends of rationalization and non-rationalization.The industrial structure of most cities changes in an unreasonable direction,then promotes the unbalanced development of urbanization.However,the use of industrial structure rationalization promoting urbanization is still very limited.Unbalanced urbanization is not conducive to the efficient use of production factors and the construction of a sound urban system.Agricultural transferred population concentrated in low-benefit sectors,limiting the rise of their income and living standards.Although urbanization has increased in quantity,but the quality of urbanization needs to be improved.In view of the existing problems and their causes,in order to promote the gradual rationalization of industrial structure in Sichuan Province and effectively play its role in promoting urbanization,this paper proposes to promote the rational development of industrial structure by improving the efficiency of resource utilization,actively play the role of industrial structure rationalization in promoting urbanization,and scientifically promote the construction of urban agglomerations in order to realize the optimization and perfection of urban system.
