One of the main contents of the human resources management in the modernenterprise management is performance management. As an effective means toimprove employee productivity and achieve corporate strategic objectives,performance appraisal is given attention by more and more enterprise managers. Howto base on the enterprise’s own characteristics and management status to establish aneffective performance appraisal system has become a big headache and confusion formany managers, especially for such enterprises having a relatively weak managementdue to the stigma of the traditional system, to promote enterprise performancemanagement is more difficult.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction, theliterature review, the purpose and significance of research background and relatedtheory of performance management and its application; the second part is the analysison present situation of employee performance management of Guangdong qualityinspection institute, using the method of questionnaire investigation and interview toprobe the existing problems in the original performance appraisal system used in thisinspection institute and explore the reasons. The third part is combining theperformance management experience in domestic and overseas quality inspectionorganization to provide an idea in optimization design of performance management,management flow, performance goal design, evaluation index system, feedbackmechanism and appeal channel; the fourth part describes the implementation ofmeasures to optimize the scheme, including organization, system and culture security,prediction problems may encounter, and prevention countermeasures, expected resultsand continue to promote the path; the fifth part makes the conclusion of the study, andputs forward the next research direction.The results of this study are suitable to the current development situation of theQuality Inspection Institute. To make the enterprise performance evaluation processmore complete, with the development of the quality inspection institute, the studyneed to continue to improve. The author will improvet continually in future work.,.The research contents of this paper will have certain reference and reference value in the implementation of optimization of employee performance management inenterprise during transformation period in our country.
