Research In Empirical Relationship Between New Industrialization And New Urbanization Of Anhui Province

The coordinative development between new industrialization and new urbanization is the only way to achieve the harmonious development of urban and rural. Industrialization provides financial support for urbanization. Urbanization is the spatial form of industrialization. The current economic development of our society is essentially to speed up the process of industrialization and urbanization, to achieve coordinated development between them. China propose to take a new road of industrialization and urbanization, based on the foundation and development of a new stage of development, adapting to changing trends in the external environment. Whether the two roads are coordinative is directly related to the overall quality and efficiency of regional economic and social development.This article closely links to the nature of new industrialization and new urbanization, builds evaluation index system of new industrialization and new urbanization. Then the article introduces coordinated development degree to make a comprehensive evaluation of regional coordinated development level between new industrialization and new urbanization. Finally, the article uses data2003-2012decade of Anhui Province for empirical analysis, proposes policy recommendations to promote the coordinative development between new industrialization and new urbanization of Anhui Province based on the results.The levels of new-style industrialization and new-type urbanization are not high in Anhui province, but the related statistics shows a rising trend year by year. In2003, Anhui province is still in the primary stage in terms of new-style industrialization. However, in2012, it has already reached the mid-stage of new-style industrialization and the composite index is growing rapidly.The harmonious rate between new-style industrialization and new-type urbanization also increased from2003to2012. Although the gap of scores between different index layers is comparatively wide, which is the same for the levels of average annual growth, the statistics is keep rising.There are large gaps of new-style industrialization levels among so many cities in Anhui province. So does the new-type urbanization. In2012, Anhui province’s new-style industrialization level is in intermediate stag in general, while some cities are remain in the primary stage and some cities are brilliant in entering the advanced stage.
