After China enters the21st century, the insurance industry as a sunrise industry got rapid development and the market has entered the overall open period. As the foreign-funded insurance companies continue to enter the competition, and the domestic new companies are constantly set up, more and more sales personnel engaged in insurance market for a long-term development.In order to strengthen the competitiveness of the enterprises in the market, people pay more and more attention to the role of human resources today. As an important project of human resource development, training plays a dominant role to improve sales skills and business knowledge. It can not only greatly alleviate the status of the talent shortage, but also improve the quality of the sales staff and strengthen enterprise management. Training has been a principal element to increase the enterprise’s core competitiveness.This paper based on the human resource and statistics theory as the research basis, and summarized domestic and foreign related literature. Combined with survey, analysis methods and tools, the author took an in-depth analysis on branch of the CPIC in Ningxia to the training problems and causes, and selected the business teams in different rank to make questionnaire and interview survey.According to the research, the author found out there are a number of problems in staff training in CPIC, such as the backward training concept, incomplete training process, unscientific training objectives, single training method, lack of training feedback, etc. However, if we combine with advanced human resources management theory and complete the training demand analysis, establish suitable planning for long-term development at the same time, the employees could improve their own quality and ability in scientific training. Through choosing a good career development plan, employees can promote the enterprise’s overall performance to achieve a win-win situation in the future.
