In the era of knowledge economy,employee is the most important intangible asset for enterprise,employee training is the most important investment for human resources. By means of employee training and self-learning, effective training and development system can improve staff quality, promote the increment of human capital and save resources for the enterprise to create long-term gains. Through restructuring and redirecting laid-off workers, the oil enterprises put down a very heavy burden of overstaffing and take part in the market with light packs, which improve the comprehensive competition of these enterprises. But the biggest bottleneck of the development does not changed, which is the employees'comprehensive competition can't adapt to today's increasingly fierce market competition. This creates a urgent need for enterprises to improve the situation of human resources, which must only be achieved through employee training.Sinopec Exploration & Production Research Institute (EPRI) is a comprehensive research institution in SINOPEC, which concentrate on oil exploration and exploitation. Based on the deep analysis of the human resources and existing training system of EPRI, this paper describes the important role which training plays in the development of enterprises and provides a redesign plan for the training system under the indication of human recourses management theories. The work process of training management and the main employee training programs are redesigned in this paper on the foundation of development strategy and present situation. The assessment indicator system of training programs and training management also be established in the paper.The background, purpose and significance of this study are described in the first part of this paper; employee training theories and the present situation of the employee training in oil enterprise are analyzed in the second part, which makes theoretical foundation of the redesign to the employee training in EPRI; In the third part, the fundamental state of EPRI and current situation of training are brief introduced, and then a detailed analysis has been made to analyze the existing employee training problem and its problems; Based on a lot work on investigation duty and job analysis, the fourth part redesigned the employee training system of EPRI. The process, standard, measurement systems and some training programs of employee training are discussed in details; the fifth part makes a summary for the redesign of the employee training for EPRI.
