| Knowledge innovation and its spillover effect has been a new research focus in the economic growth theory and economic geography. It is considered to be a modern society engine of economic growth. This paper combed the related theory of knowledge spillover, specifically include:the concept and characteristics of knowledge, the concept of knowledge spillover and four kinds expression of external form, the influence factors of knowledge spillover, knowledge spillover effect, the measure methods of knowledge spillover and knowledge spillover effects on economic growth, etc. This article evaluated the measurement method and then studied the premise of measuring the knowledge spillover effect----" determine the stock of knowledge". Firstly, this article introduced a index system which reflected the stock of knowledge level from different angles, and then used the principal component in comprehensive evaluation method to determine the weight of each index.Secondly,with index standardization of multiple numerical weighted average, it calculated the proxy variable "KS"of knowledge stock. Then this paper used spatial econometric knowledge to do the spatial correlation inspection of "KS" and economic performance index " GDP ", found that both regional knowledge stock and GDP have spatial autocorrelation, so that study the relationship between the knowledge spillover and economic growth must consider both the spatial correlation and establish spatial econometric model. The demonstration part used the thinking of the knowledge production function to determine the variables,chose the panel data of31regions in our country from year2000to year2010to build a spatial model. After testing, the indicators regarded spatial Durbin model with individual fixed effects as the best model, the test results not only showed the model coefficient of each variable but also gave direct effect,indirect effect and total effect of each variable. Model results showed that the area of knowledge stock not only had positive effect on region economy, but also drove economic growth in other areas. The spatial knowledge spillover effect existed, knowledge overflowed beyond the geographical boundaries of administrative areas. Area should pay attention to the improvement of knowledge innovation in itself, put efforts to promote the knowledge spillover between adjacent area, and actively seek cross-regional cooperation to form a win-win pattern of regional development. |
