The contribution of human capital on economic growth has been a consensus that human capital have long been included in the model of economic growth, but, existing research mainstream focus in the field of education human capital and research on health human capital is relatively insufficient Health is the foundation of the people engaged in all activities, health human capital as an important part of the human capital, the same as education human capital, have made important contribution to economic growth. In the past30years, China’s economic has been developed rapidly and entered the ranks of Upper-middle-income countries in2010, at the same time, China’s education has made considerable development, health level has been greatly improved too. This thesis tries to analyse the contribution of education human capital, health human capital and material capital to economic growth from the aspects of theory and empirical study, combing the characteristics of China’s economic growth at present stage, proposes the human capital accumulationpath of economic growth in our country, which is significant important for transforming the "demographic dividend" to "human capital dividend" and then achieving a fong-term and stable economic growth in our country. In the theoretical analysis, the thesis first defines the meaning of human capital, then analyzes the economic growth related theoretical model and empirical research, and investigates the influence of education human capital and health human capital on economic growth at last It is concluded that education and health human capital not only have a direct impact on economic growth, but also have an indirect effect on economic growth through the interaction with each other. In the empirical analysis, the thesis analyzes the physical capital, education and health human capital’s contribution to China’s economic growth using time series data. Specifically, the material capital is the result of capital amount multiplied by employment rate in each year, education human capital is denoted as the duration of school education, health human capital is indicated with the population mortality rate. It is concluded that the main power for China’s economic growth is investment in material capital and it contributes55.69%to the economic growth; Education human capital has a significant role in promoting economic growth, Per worker output will increase by21.54%with one increasing year in average education attainment; Health human capital also has a significant role in promoting economic growth, per worker GDP will increase by15.49unit with mortality rates decreasing per unit This reflects that China’s economic growth mode gradually changes from dependence on the increase of production factor to quality improving. Finally, according to the research results, this thesis proposes some recommendations to strengthen the education and health human capital accumulation. First of all, to accumulate education human capital, increase education expenditure, improve the quality of basic education and match education structure to the development of economic. Secondly, for health human capital accumulation, it is need to increase government investment and improve the investment structure in public health, strengthen the rural health service support, and narrow the gap between urban and rural health service.
