Study On The Control Of Logistics Cost

Logistics capability is gradually gaining significance in the core of enterprisesalongside the rapid growth and development of logistic industry within our country. Theaccuracy over controlling logistical cost is the core of the entire logistical managementsystem, which also enhances the overall economic efficiency and competitively ofenterprises. Thus, the management of controlling logistical cost firmly establishes theindustrial chain. Therefore, the importance of research and practice of the management ofcontrolling logistical cost within enterprises is too important to be ignored on.At present, many enterprises have realized the importance of logistics cost control,however, the current accounting systems in modern enterprises are not able to reveal thegenuine cost of logistics due to the variation of the types of enterprises, which also leads tothe difficulties of logistic cost control and management. Therefore, the only way toeffectively control logistics cost with further gains of economic benefit to enterprises, is thatwe have the capability to discover the truth of logistic control.The research object of this paper is Hansol CSN Logistics (Tianjin)Co.,Ltd. that is aSouth Korean third party logistics company. Based on the research of the situation oflogistics cost management currently within both Chinese and international scales, as long asthe circumstance of Hansol applying analyses of logistics cost management and accounting,they have discovered the issues within the company in terms of logistics cost controlmanagement. With the above condition as a foundation, they have carried out discussions ofChinese and international regions separately, and researched in the particulars of bonded andwarehouse logistics in China, including a comprehensive analyses of cost management andprocess control, solutions of cost management and control under the research anddiscussions of paths of logistics cost management and control of ocean and air transports.Furthermore, they have proposed four solutions of lowering the cost, which includescontrols over domestic and international logistics cost, constructing an exhaustive structureof logistics management of Hansol, making a strategy of justifying logistics and determininga system of logistics accounting. As a result, Hansol has created an effective andcomprehensive program of logistics cost control.
