OEM Supplier Evaluatiion System Based On Food Safety Of CPF Company And Management Strategy Studies

As the food industry develops rapidly, a variety of food safety incidents also emerge in an endless stream. This is a great blow to consumers’confidence in food safety and it is disastrous for many well-known food enterprises. It is particularly important to select and evaluate partners for enterprises which is in the OEM mode of cooperation, especially in the high risk of food industry. At present, the general supplier evaluation system can only work in evaluating the supplier product quality, delivery cycle, after-sale service and so on, but this can’t satisfy the need of food industry suppliers evaluation. How to establish a set of OEM supplier selection and evaluation system based on food safety will provide the reference for the rapid development of the food industry.First, through the comparison of supplier evaluation system among well-known domestic and international food enterprises such as Yum Brands, Coca-Cola, COFCO and so on, at the same time analysising current situation and problems of OEM supplier management of CPF company, this thesis researches on establishing the OEM supplier evaluation system aiming at food safety. The research bases on the theory of OEM, supplier management and food safety management. By using analytic hierarchy process method and expert scoring, the weight of each module of OEM supplier evaluation system is determined and the evaluation index system is established. Using this system, we can estimate the ability food safety hazards identification of the OEM supplier and the assessment results can fully reflect the level of food safety management and the problems of OEM supplier. It also can prompt the food safety risk that possibly exists. All these can be used by decision makers. At the same time, this evaluation system can be used as food safety management tool to guide the OEM providers. Second, taking CPF company as an example, the paper researches on the operation mode and the effect of the evaluation standard used by CPF company, and provides the follow-up management strategy of OEM supplier. At last, the author summarize the research work and points out the shortcomings of the research and the research direction in the future.
