Since the policy of reformation and opening launched in china, the economy of china has been running higher and higher with the developing speed of2digits each year or so, the developing speed has been surprised the world for more than30years. Due to the obvious advantage of domestic labor resource and cost, at the beginning of reformation and opening, labor concentrated industry is the main stream and almost all labor concentrated industry achieved big success. From USA economy crisis in2008on, the global economy has been sluggish, and during past2years, the sovereign rating of many advanced countries like USA, France, Italy etc were lowered, international market becomes complicated and confusing.Along with china becoming member of WTO, domestic enterprises has more and more competition in the international market, and take more and more responsibility accordingly, so china labor concentrated enterprises, especially those which only do CMT for garments, meet more and more pressure. On the other hand, the domestic labor resource is less and less, labor shortage workers havoc is all over the china, and even worse, labor cost has been increasing sharply. Another disadvantageous factor is RMB has been appreciating for years, and the tendency is still up, all those make all garments enterprises to sink in deep mire. Lean management becomes the sole choice for garments enterprises.By Qingdao Huajie group for example, this thesis studied the whole lean management transformation process, e.g. looking for all potential MUDA and at the same time drawing out VSM mapping, and put forward correction action plan, such as one piece flow, reconstruction of production flow, etc. Based on comprehending and grasping the essence of lean management, the thesis summarized and extracted unique lean evaluation indicator, such as SAM, overall working efficiency, EFFIMAX, and total quality management. As guided by those indicators, the thesis evaluated the whole lean management process, the conclusions indicate that this company can be of kaizen continuously both for the economic feasibility and technical feasibility. Though analysis, the thesis put forwarded further kaizen action and proposal, and provided reference basis for apparel processing lean management.
