Linkage Industry Structure In Yunnan Province And ASEAN Trade Structure

Foreign trade structure and industrial structure change are two economic phenomena in the process of regional economic growth.The coordinated development can effect the quality of regional economic growth.ASEAN has always been the largest trading partner of Yunnan Province,Wether the import and export trade structure of Yunnan to ASEAN and Yunnan’s industrial structure is coupled directly related to the future economic development of Yunnan province.But in recent years,Yunnan’s industrial development has been lackluster,and the trade to ASEAN even negatively grew based on the above background,this paper focuses on the respective movement of Yunnan industrial structure and its trade structure to ASEAN,as well as the interaction and coupling between them,aiming at providing decisive basis of adjusting and optimizing the Yunnan industrial structure and trade structure to ASEAN for relative departments.Based on foreign trade theory,the theory of industrial structure,the interaction mechanism of foreign trade structure and industrial structure,in the perspective of industrial structure change and trade structure change,this paper study the interaction and coupling of Yunnan industrial structure and trade structure to ASEAN.On above study,We draw a conclusion that:Yunnan industrial structure and the import and export trade structure to ASEAN has a long-term dynamic equilibrium relationship from the Granger test of Yunnan industrial structure and the trade structure of imports and exports to ASEAN, the Yunnan industrial structure is the Granger reasons exports structure changes to ASEAN, indicating that the industrial structure is still active force of foreign trade development, while imports structural changes of Yunnan to ASEAN is cause of the industrial structure change, indicating that the growth of imports affected the development of the industrial structure.From the results of pulse analysis and variance decomposition, Yunnan import goods structure changes usually wrong lagged the development of the industrial structure changes,, Yunnan Province, Yunnan industrial structure has a negative influence on the import structure to ASEAN in the first, indicating that two were not coupled; export structure has obvious positive influence on the industrial structure, and the industrial structure is also showing a positive influence on the export structure, indicating that the two are mutually reinforcing, synergistic coupling development on the basis of inducting and simplifying the basic conclusions, this paper presents the following path selection and policy recommendations:Yunnan in order to achieve industrial structure and trade structure to ASEAN interactive upgrading and economic development by leaps and bounds,we must change the current simple trade model of relying solely on natural resources and labor by two parties,to enhance of innovative dynamic comparative advantage of technology-dependent development, improve product competitiveness on the international market, to achieve leapfrog development strategy in backward areas. This paper presents Yunnan as a regional trade channels between eastern region and ASEAN through importing the developed technology-intensive products from eastern and central regions, and exporting to ASEAN countries, and to develop their own industries to form its own industrial advantages in the process of absorbing foreign capital and technology, to form interactive upgrades of their own industrial structure and trade structure to ASEAN.
